Our math program is called "Envisions Math". We will be focusing on the Common Core Standards for First Grade. Math will look very different this year for the students.We will be focusing on many skills but with a focus on eight mathematical practices.

3.Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others.
4.Model with mathematics.
5.Use appropriate tools.

7.Look for and make the use of structure

I can read and write numbers to 12.
I can compare, order, make and understand numbers.
I can understand addition and subtraction.
I can solve word problems.
I can add and subtract 25 math facts in 5 minutes.
